To begin with I would like to thank the readers for taking the time to check out the blog. Thanks to Brock for inviting me to express some of my thoughts on the Hurricanes. Here’s a little about me. I’m a southern Alberta lifer who’s spent many a year on these windswept prairies. I am an ICHS graduate (a long time ago) who held a variety of jobs over the years. I was in retail management, sales for a liquor company, and working at car dealership. Along the way I got married and had a beautiful daughter.

Having a child pushed me to go back to school. I’ve since graduated from LC (2011) and the U of L (2014). Upon completion of my B.A. I re-enrolled in the Education after degree program at the U of L, which I will complete in the spring of 2016. Apparently, I’ve become a bit of a professional student as I approach middle age. That’s alright as these years back in school have been some of the most rewarding of my life. I’ve learned a ton and met a lot of interesting people. I anticipate that this experience with Canes Domain will lead to more of the same.

I’ve been a Hurricanes season ticket holder since 2008 and I’m excited with the direction this franchise is going. I think this is great time to be following the Canes and I look forward to sharing the journey with others. I’m a sarcastic guy who doesn’t take things too seriously. I encourage everyone to join in on the conversation. Whether it’s Hurricanes fans, WHL fans, hockey fans, or whatever. Please let me know if you agree, disagree, love it, or hate it. Let’s get the discussion going! If you’re roaming the concourse of the ENMAX Centre and want to say hey I can usually be found in the area of NN ripping up another losing 50/50 ticket.
