…Into the fire.

It’s a quote that always make me think of JRR Tolkien’s The Hobbit. Tonight the Hurricanes will look to bounce back from a tough loss at the hands of the Prince George Cougars. Last nights game was only the Hurricanes second loss at home all season. The Canes have been dynamite at home – but overall – its been a tough few weeks for Lethbridge. They have been playing decent in stints, but all the close games they were winning early in the year have turned into losses of late. In Moose Jaw, Brandon, Regina and last night against Prince George, the Hurricanes held the lead at some point in the game. On one hand, it’s great to know they have been in the fight. They aren’t getting their doors blown off, but it’s equally disappointing to know they have let four of their last five games slip away.

Can they right last nights wrong against the Blades? We will find out in a few short hours.

Tonight’s game day blog is extremely short and late, but it’s here regardless. As we have for most games this season, we will have a full write-up on tonight’s game shortly after it ends.

See you at the rink.
